Railway Transport College successfully implemented the educational
project " Georgia: From the Past to the Future by the 'Iron Way'"
in 2025, which was funded by the Skills Agency Georgia.
The main objective of the project was to
deepen professional students' knowledge of railway history and introduce them
to the historical significance of Georgia's railway development.
Various educational and cognitive
activities were conducted within the framework of the project.
One of the project's main achievements was the creation of informational brochures that compile the role of historical figures (Niko Nikoladze, Akaki Tsereteli, Niko Pirosmani) in railway development, travel routes and location descriptions, visual materials, and photo documentation.
- The
project contributed to:
- Deepening and developing students' historical
knowledge
- Popularizing railway education
- Raising civic awareness
- Implementing interactive learning methods
- Strengthening regional cooperation
The created brochure " Georgia:
From the Past to the Future by the 'Iron Way'" is available to all
interested parties and represents a valuable informational resource about
Georgia's railway heritage. The brochure contains visual materials, historical
photographs, and detailed information about all visited locations.
Railway Transport College extends its gratitude to the Professional Skills Agency Georgia for this opportunity!
