Meeting of the Board of Directors of Vocational Educational Institutions

 Under the leadership of the Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, Givi Mikanadze, a meeting of the Board of Directors of Vocational Educational Institutions was held at the College Modus in Rustavi. The Minister introduced the attendees to the main directions and lines of the fundamental reform of higher education.

 He emphasized the importance of strengthening and promoting the development of vocational education in parallel with the implementation of the reform. The meeting also discussed important issues such as: funding colleges for infrastructure improvement and providing the necessary resources for institutional development.

 The session was attended by Deputy Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia Baia Kvitsiani, representatives of the Ministry and heads of colleges.

 By the decision of the Minister, the Council's meeting is held regularly, and at each meeting, the members gradually discuss all initiatives that serve to strengthen the vocational education system, expand students' opportunities, and contribute to the country's economic development.
