We are particularly proud that Railway Transport College is the first vocational education institution in Georgia to become a member of the World TVET League.

This achievement reflects the exceptional support of Mr. Givi Mikanadze, Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, who helped lay the foundation for successful future cooperation between our College and Nanjing Vocational Institute of Railway Technology (China) from the very beginning of their partnership. This cooperation aims to promote the harmonisation of vocational education and technological development in the railway industry. The entire College team extends its sincere gratitude to the Minister for his support.

The World TVET League brings together 109 member organisations from 43 countries worldwide, including vocational education institutions, colleges, universities and other organisations involved in the field of technical and vocational education and training.

The League aims to promote the development of vocational education and strengthen international cooperation.

Membership in the World TVET League marks an important milestone in the College’s international development and enhances the international visibility of Georgia’s railway vocational education sector. It provides Railway Transport College with opportunities to engage more actively in international professional dialogue, share experiences and best practices from different countries, and strengthen partnerships with foreign educational institutions.

This is an important step towards improving the quality of vocational education, exchanging modern approaches and strengthening cooperation between vocational education and the railway industry.

Railway Transport College continues to work towards expanding international cooperation and preparing qualified professionals equipped to meet the evolving needs of Georgia’s railway sector.
