Registration has opened at the LEPL Railway Transport College for the short-term training program "Environmental Manager."
Registration is conducted electronically via the portal: www.vet.ge.

Interview with the competition commission: 18.09.2026.
Program objective:
Preparing trainees who, within the framework of the short-term program, will acquire all the necessary skills related to the duties of an environmental manager — developing a waste management plan, reducing waste generation, sorting and properly disposing of it, transportation, as well as reporting rules and record-keeping in electronic systems. Trainees will learn to work with environmental documents, develop an environmental plan, and manage it.
Within this program you will learn:
- Responding to environmental problems and assessing pollution impact;
- Environmental impact assessment (EIA);
- International environmental conventions and national legislation;
- Building an organizational system for environmental management, auditing and monitoring;
- Conducting environmental training and preparing reports;
- Assessing the impacts caused by climate change, mitigation and adaptation measures;
- Monitoring energy efficiency achievements;
- Responding to environmental incidents and emergency situations, and maintaining related documentation.
Upon successful completion of the program, graduates will receive a state-recognized certificate.
